On Sunday 8th November, an online meeting was held, via ZOOM, for the 15 plot holders who put their names forward as Prospective Candidates to manage the allotments until an AGM can be held. 13 attended.
At that meeting, it was decided to name the group
The Interim Management Group
Four of the group were proposed and elected by a majority vote to the following roles:

James Hunt – Interim Chairman
Alison Forrester – Interim Vice Chair
Bill Trimble – Interim Treasurer
Johnny Bouchier – Interim Secretary

These four people will look after the day to day management of the site, with support and guidance of the rest of the 15.
It must again be stressed – this arrangement is only until an AGM can be held.
Options are being investigated to see how an AGM can be held within current or new Covid-19 restrictions, enabling the maximum number of plot holders to participate. Any suggestions you may have would be very welcome.

The site is comprised of 44 full plots.  We currently operate a policy of offering new members a half plot on joining, with the opportunity to take on more land later.  This means that at any given time, the site caters for 50-60 plot holders, many of whom live locally.
We are lucky to be a popular site and currently operate a waiting list, however this is often shorter than many other sites in Greater London, so please get in contact to add your name.
The annual rental for a half-plot is £56 per year from October, including water.
