Kingston Vale Leisure Gardeners' Association
an allotment community growing together for over 80 years

The one thing you cannot predict about an Open Day is the weather!
However, this year we were lucky, and 1st September dawned bright and sunny. The community shed, thoroughly cleaned and decorated, was transformed into a tearoom where coffee, tea and the most delicious cakes (all baked by members of our community) were served by two valiant
KVLGA members. Outside we had a barbecue, tombola and raffle tickets for sale.
Plenty of produce was on offer and a special stall was set up by two of our members serving the most delicious Portuguese food.
Best of all though it was a wonderful opportunity to show off our beautiful allotment site to visitors and we had quite a few names added to our waiting list and raised £335.
