KVLGA Open Day 2019

The one thing you cannot predict about an Open Day is the weather! 

However, this year we were lucky, and 1^st September dawned bright and sunny.  The community shed, thoroughly cleaned and decorated, was transformed into a tearoom where coffee, tea and the most delicious cakes (all baked by members of our community) were served by two valiant

KVLGA members. Outside we had a barbecue, tombola and raffle tickets for sale. 

Plenty of produce was on offer and a special stall was set up by two of our members serving the most delicious Portuguese food.

Best of all though it was a wonderful opportunity to show off our beautiful allotment site to visitors and we had quite a few names added to our waiting list and raised £335.
